This type of trust can be amended by its creator at any time. The assets are owned by the trust. Flexibility is a major benefit to many. This trust allows you to add or remove assets, change beneficiaries, or make other adjustments you deem necessary. Those assets in your trust will avoid the probate process, and access of your investments will be readily available to your beneficiaries.

Your Options

As custodian, First Bankers Trust Services will hold the assets of the trust and report income, expenses, and holdings to the Trustee and beneficiaries. We take direction from the Trustee who is responsible for investment management.

As Trustee, we hold the assets of the trust and invest the assets accordingly. As Trustee, we can also pay any or all of your bills, take care of your annual tax reporting, and report to you quarterly the transactions of your trust.
